WebRemoteForHandhelds extension
- allows you to use the remote control of your Dreambox on your handheld / smartphone (Android phone, iPhone, ...)
- consists of a single HTML file extending the WebInterface by a remote control that can be directly opened in the web browser (in contrast to the standard remote control in the WebInterface)
Installation
- requires Enigma 2 with WebInterface extension
Automatic installation
- ssh onto dreambox
- wget http://common.open-dreambox.org/releases/WebRemoteForHandhelds/webremote4handhelds_1.0_mipsel.ipk
- ipkg install webremote4handhelds_1.0_mipsel.ipk
Manual Installation
- copy simple_remote.html to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/WebInterface/web-data of your Dreambox
Manual Installation from svn
- software you need
- checkout the Extensions folder (if not already done)
- change into the WebRemoteForHandhelds folder
- upload the plugin to your Dreambox
make install
Open the remote control
- open http://dreambox/web-data/simple_remote.html in your webbrowser
